Performativitás olvasóműhely Zürichben

Lesz egy ilyen kis workshopos összejövetel, nagyon érdemes megnézni a programot! Alaptéma: performativitás a földrajzban, a feminista földrajzban, a gazdaságföldrajzban, a politikatudományban, a nem-reprezentációs elméletekben. Megvitatandó szövegek:

The event starts with a keynote lecture by Prof. Dr. Marc Boeckler from the University of Frankfurt as part of the Zurich Colloquium in Human Geography on Thursday 27th of September 2012 at 4.15 p.m. and continues with a full-day workshop on Friday 28th of September, in which we'll read and debate key texts and discuss our own approaches to the concept of performativity in geography. Ingyenes feminista témájú cikkek az Environment and Planning D: Society and Space folyóiratból!

Az Environment and Planning D: Society and Space nem egy ingyenesen elérhető folyóirat (itthon pedig gyakorlatilag alig elérhető!), de a szerkesztők igyekeznek bizonyos időközökre ingyenessé tenni egyes anyagait. Legújabban például Mary Thomas feminista geográfus egy nyitottan letölthető "virtuális tematikus számot" ("virtual theme issue") állított össze a folyóirat 12 archív cikkéből, amelyhez a bevezető szöveget is ő írta. Az inspirációt Rosalyn Deutsche által írt polemikus cikk megjelenésének a 20. évfordulója adta, amelyben David Harvey The Condition of Postmodernity könyvét illette igen erős kritikával. Ennek tiszteletéül, megemlékezvén a korabeli feminista kritikák megjelenésére, a cikkek témája is a feminizmus, a társadalmi nemiség (gender) és a szexualitás kérdései köré lettek összeválogatva. A szerzők között szerepel Doreen Massey, Gillian Rose, Cindi Katz, Geraldine Pratt és mások tanulmányai, köztük Deutsche említett cikke, a "Boys Town" is.
